Demo: corrected menu structure
The bar directly below is the actual WordPress menu “Demo Mega Menu” (Appearance → Menus) rendered by the same Elementor Nav Menu widget the live header uses — every link is a native taxonomy item, no hand-typed URLs, max 3 levels. The live Main Menu and header are untouched.
Internal demo — nothing live was changed. The header above this box is the current live menu. The blue bar below is the proposed mega menu, built only from links that actually exist on this site. A matching WordPress menu named “Demo Mega Menu” was created under Appearance → Menus for wiring into Elementor later.

Three audiences, one panel each, two clicks to any course list. Course Type (Workshop / Hands-on) and Location (National / International / Industry) are filters on the archive pages, not menu levels.
How every link maps to real site structure
No hand-typed URLs. Every entry is a taxonomy archive that already exists — the same targets used by the “Demo Mega Menu” in Appearance → Menus.

To take this live (when approved)
- Re-tag the 6 existing course posts correctly (e.g. “Cataract Fellowship” → DOCTOR-Fellowship, Tier I–III → DOCTOR-PG) and rename the “Cataract Fellowship” slug from
cataracttocataract-fellowship. - In the Header template, replace the old Nav Menu widget with Elementor Pro’s Menu (mega menu) widget — one dropdown container per audience, laid out like the panels above.
- Point WordPress menu selection at Demo Mega Menu (or rename it “Main Menu v2”) so links stay native taxonomy items.
- Add
sterm(course type) andcourse-type(location) taxonomy filters to the “Course Archive” loop template. - Delete the old Main Menu’s dead
#items and 404 custom links once the new header is verified.
